TEXAS (USA): GUY ALLEN CERCA UN AMICO DI PENNA
24 marzo 2014: Guy Allen, prigioniero nel braccio della morte del Texas, cerca un amico di penna che possa corrispondere con lui in inglese.
Questa è la breve presentazione che lui stesso ha scritto:
“Hi!
I’m Guy, a black man from Texas. I’m looking to befriend an Italian. But I must tell you that, for more than seven years now, I’ve been housed on Texas Death Row, home of the most active death chamber in the country. Each day I awaken to the harsh conditions of solitary confinement, and anxieties of what lies ahead for me.
To give up hope isn’t an option, because I still have a lot to offer to others. So to keep my mind sharp, I read daily and write, as well as draw. Exercise is a must and I love people. My hobbies are playing chess, all sports, the outdoors, dancing and listening to music.
If you are a forgiving person, compassionate and willing to help me in my struggles, then I hope you will offer me your friendship. I’m waiting to hear from you.”
