BANGLADESH: QUATTRO ISLAMISTI CONDANNATI A MORTE PER OMICIDIO SACERDOTE HINDU’

Quattro membri del gruppo islamista fuorilegge Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) sono stati condannati a morte il 15 marzo 2020 per aver ucciso un sacerdote hindù a Panchagarh nel 2016. I condannati a morte sono: Jahangir alias Rajib Gandhi, Rajibul Islam, Alamgir Hossain e Ramzan Ali. Il giudice Anup Kumar del tribunale per direttissima di Rajshahi ha pronunciato il verdetto alle 11 del mattino. Tra i condannati, Rajibul è latitante. Jogeshwar Roy, 50 anni, un sacerdote hindù, fu ucciso a colpi di arma da fuoco nel sottodistretto di Debiganj il 21 febbraio 2016.
